Today we learned about TIME SIGNATURES AND ADVANCED COUNTING. We will be COUNTING all of our songs OUT LOUD from now on!
We now know TREBLE G and BASS F LANDMARKS! Remember to read the NOTES FIRST, THEN THE FINGER NUMBERS. Watch for the DYNAMICS and the LOUDS AND SOFTS!
For the party you can play your own version of GORILLA IN THE TREE with its own Creepy Name!
We are now reading notes on the STAFF. We learned that MIDDLE C can exist in two places, near the TREBLE CLEF (played with RIGHT HAND), and near the BASS CLEF (played by the LEFT HAND).
We also learned about LANDMARK G which is pointed to by the loop around in the TREBLE CLEF. We also talked about DYNAMICS! We will be playing with different dynamics in our pieces.
